I lead IT Assure, a managed cybersecurity company serving professional firms. Much of my work is focused on building better systems, stronger management, clearer accountability, and a business that becomes progressively less dependent on its owner.

I became an entrepreneur by buying a business. Running it became the real education.
My background began in finance and accounting. I later became interested in entrepreneurship through acquisition and eventually acquired the business I now operate.
Over the years I’ve had to learn about customers, sales, people, management, operations, risk, and what happens when a business depends too heavily on its owner.
I don’t write because I believe I have all the answers. I write because documenting what works, what fails, and what changes my thinking may be useful to others.
